Three former colleagues have launched a Manchester-based company which aims to improve business productivity through staff motivation and engagement.
By wanting to challenge outdated practices 4and20million will be working with ambitious companies who want to attract and retain the best talent which in turn creates a positive and motivating working environment and boosts productivity and performance.
The company was set up by trio Josie Saville, Dan McNicholas and Alex Heywood who were formally the managing partner, data planning director and marketing and business development director at Manchester agency Wavemaker.
The three co-founders said:
“This isn’t about perks and yoga – it’s about increasing business productivity. We do this by changing the way people feel about work. We are on a mission to help shape businesses where employees turn up feeling inspired and motivated and leave at the end of the day feeling proud of the contribution they’ve made.
“Most companies will agree that their people are their greatest asset. But with current research showing that just 17% of us are engaged at work, and that the average UK employee is productive for less than three hours a day, the stark reality for UK businesses is that engaging their people is more critical than ever.”
4and20million is already working with financial services company evestor.
Anthony Morrow, the CEO of evestor said:
“We are excited to embark on this journey with 4and20million as they help ensure that evestor becomes a leader not just in the field of accessible financial advice, but also in establishing a reputation as the most forward-thinking, inspiring workplace in the sector.”
Mick Style, CEO of Wavemaker, said he wished the new venture well and said the trio had helped to establish “innovative working practices across the business”.
