The leading agency nurse provider, Local Care Force, has been awarded Employer of the Year at the 2019 National Business Women’s Awards.
The Managing Director of Local Care Force, Leanne Silverwood was joined by two other outstanding women who took top awards in the finals of the National Business Women’s Awards at Wembley stadium.
Leanne Silverwood on the win said:
“Our employee’s and workforce are at the centre of everything we do. We reached 21 in the times top 100 on our first attempt because of their feedback, so we are definitely doing something very right. My team’s happiness, confidence and work-life balance is paramount and this award gives some recognition to us as a business for doing the right thing whilst having a load of fun along the way!
“We also pride ourselves on being an ethical agency with above industry standard strict vetting processes. It’s because of this that we are able to provide our clients with complete ‘peace of mind’ – giving 95% and at times 100% in client audits. Only the very best people become part of our team and they in turn, deliver the very best standards of care.”
Gill Marchbank of ResQ Limited took the Corporate Leader of the Year Title and Ridwana Wallace-Laher of Penny Appeal took home the Employee of the Year title.
The awards cover a variety of areas within business, from the sole trader to the corporate elite and recognise female innovators, trailblazers, disruptors and entrepreneurs who are setting precedent for women.
