The Lakes Gin Wins At The World Gin Awards

The Lakes Gin, created by The Lakes Distillery, has been recognised with the Gold Award at the World Gin Awards 2019. It was the only classic gin in the UK category to be awarded the Gold Award.

The Lakes Gin, which is listed with major retailers across the UK and in all UK World Duty-Free stores in UK airports, was presented with the Gold Medal in the UK Produced, Classic Gin category at the award ceremony held in The Caledonian Club in London.

The award-winning classic gin has vibrant notes of juniper, orange peel and lemon citrus.

All of the botanicals are steeped overnight in the finest English wheat spirit, along with pure Cumbrian water, which is sourced from the River Derwent.

The World Gin Awards are the global awards which select the very best gins in all of the different internationally recognised styles of gin. The World Gin Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best gins around the globe.
