White Rose Shopping Centre is hosting a drop-in recruitment event on Sunday 16th March, with opportunities available across the business.
White Rose currently employs more than 4,000 people across Leeds, with the 2017 opening of its outdoor leisure extension The Village bolstering this by upwards of 300 staff, and the centre contributes £53 million in annual earnings.
One of the most significant employers in South Leeds, White Rose currently has ten full-time vacancies across Customer Service, Security and Cleaning positions which include Customer Services Manager, leading the customer service at the centre. Visitors are invited to drop in during the session with a copy of their CV for an informal chat with the team.
The General Manager of the White Rose Shopping Centre, Steven Foster, said:
“We’re incredibly proud of our team, and we focus on providing roles with great opportunities for development for local people. Offering a great Yorkshire welcome is important to us at White Rose, and our team are on the front line of delivering an exceptional visitor experience.”
Amy Butler is Head of Security and Environment, which is a sector that is historically dominated by men, added:
“My role is diverse, challenging, and very rewarding. No two days are the same – one day I might be helping to plan a retailer promotional event or overseeing contractors refitting a unit, and the next I could be part of an ecological project like maintaining our aerobic food digester.
“There is so much scope for development at White Rose, not only in my role but across so many positions, and I’d encourage anyone to explore this area as a career. We’re looking forward to adding more friendly and ambitious colleagues to our team.”
White Rose Shopping Centre’s recruitment event will be held in the Central Atrium on Saturday 16th March from 10am – 4pm.
