Audio brand specialist, PHMG is set to smash their annual fundraising targets after raising more than £48,000 so far this year for their chosen charities.
The employees at the Manchester-based business have been pulling out all of the stops to ensure that they reach their £50,000 goal through participating in a number of challenging events which included the Great North Run, the Manchester Half Marathon and in this festive season, they participated in The Global Santa Dash – a festive fun run and a Global Toy Drive, with staff donating gifts to children and teenagers who might not otherwise receive one.
As with previous years, PHMG board has pledged to match the donation if the £50,000 target is met. The money will be donated through the company’s official charity, the PHMG Foundation, which has raised more than £316,000 since 2013.
Chris Berisford, the Finance Director at PHMG said:
“It’s always great to see the grit and determination of our staff when it comes to charitable activities, especially when the countdown is on towards the end of the year,”
“We can’t wait to see what the final amount will be.”
The PHMG Foundation in 2018 is fundraising for four charities through the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Action for Children and SOS Children’s Village Illinois.
