YouTube is one of the most popular social media platforms and it has just been announced that there are now over 1.5 billion logged in users that use YouTube every month, and that figure doesn’t include those who use YouTube even if they aren’t logged into their Google account.
The number of people who use YouTube on a regular basis has continued to grow but, you probably wouldn’t expect it to be as the amount of people who watch TV. They have also announced that many people watching YouTube actually watch it on their TV rather than on a laptop or mobile as you’d expect, which may be one of the reasons why the number of logged in visitors to the website is so high.
The site has also found that on average, those logged in users are spending at least an hour on the site, and compared to the time spent watching TV, believe there is still possibility for that figure to increase.
